If you don’t have a grill, you can also prepare the tarte flambée in the oven. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and bake on a baking tray for 15-20 minutes until crispy.

The tarte flambée recipe is super simple.
- Knead all the ingredients for the dough and put it in the fridge for 15-20min.
- Meanwhile, prepare the toppings. For a savory version, red onions, cherry tomatoes and arugula are super tasty. If you prefer it sweet, you can also top the tarte flambée with apple slices or peach and put some mustard over the tarte flambée.
- Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and spread it with vegan crème fraîche. Then top the dough with the toppings of your choice.
- Place the dough patties on the grill or in the oven and bake until crispy.
