The following notices provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit my website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. For more detailed information on data protection, please refer to our privacy policy listed below this text.

Data collection on my website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find his contact details in the imprint of this website.

How do I collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected by you providing it to me. This can be, for example, data that you enter in a contact form.

Other data is automatically collected by my IT systems when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page view). The collection of this data takes place automatically as soon as you enter my website.

What do I use your data for?

Some of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have a right to demand the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this and other questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the imprint. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Analysis tools and tools from third parties

When visiting my website, your surfing behavior may be statistically analyzed. This is done primarily with cookies and with so-called analysis programs. The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous; the surfing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. You can find detailed information on this in the following privacy policy.

You can object to this analysis. We will inform you about the objection options in this privacy policy.

General notes and mandatory information

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. I treat your personal data confidentially and according to the legal data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data by which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data I collect and what I use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

I point out that data transmission on the Internet (for example, when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke an already given consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to me is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that I process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to me as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

Objection to advertising e-mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Data collection on our website

Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies I use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow me to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Cookie consent with Borlabs cookie

This website uses Borlabs Cookie, which sets a technically necessary cookie (borlabs-cookie) to store your cookie consents.

Borlabs cookie does not process any personal data.

The borlabs-cookie cookie stores your consents that you gave when you entered the website. If you wish to revoke these consents, simply delete the cookie in your browser. When you re-enter/reload the website, you will be asked for your cookie consent again.

Yoast SEO

To support search engine optimization of the site, we use the plugin “YOAST SEO”. According to WP-Support (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/yoast-gdpr/), the tool does not store any personal data and is therefore DSGVO-compliant.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. With your visit to www.dr-schollmeyer.de, information about the access can be stored on our server (examples: Date and time of access, name of your internet provider, type of operating system, internet browser used, origin of traffic, pages visited within our website).

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The use of the “anonymizeIP” function for your IP address guarantees within the European Union or member states of the European Economic Area the shortening of the IP address by the last octet, whereby a clear assignment of the IP address is thus no longer possible.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website (e.g. the pages visited and the length of stay on individual pages), compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The information may be transferred by Google to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

All data are anonymized and are evaluated by us exclusively for statistical purposes and to improve our offer.

Right of objection / deactivation of Google Analytics

You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. You can also prevent the collection and transmission of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the appropriate browser plugin.

As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, please click this link to prevent the collection by Google Analytics within this website in the future (the opt-out only works in the browser and only for this domain). This will place an opt-out cookie on your device. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again.

However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Privacy policy on the use and application of Jetpack for WordPress.

The controller has integrated Jetpack on this website. Jetpack is a WordPress plug-in that provides additional functionality to the operator of a website built on WordPress. Jetpack allows the website operator, among other things, an overview of the visitors to the site. Furthermore, by displaying related posts and publications or the possibility to share content on the page, it is possible to increase the number of visitors. In addition, security features are integrated into Jetpack, so that a website using Jetpack is better protected against brute force attacks. Jetpack also optimizes and speeds up the loading of images integrated on the website.

Server-Log-Dateien

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to me. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

Contact form

If you send me inquiries via contact form, your data from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by me for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. I do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to me is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with me until you request me to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your request has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Comment function on this website

For the comment function on this site, in addition to your comment, information on the time of creation of the comment, your e-mail address and, if you do not post anonymously, the username you have chosen will be stored.

If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. On my site, I use social plugins of the social network Pinterest, which is operated by Pinterest Inc, 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94103-490, USA (“Pinterest”).

When you call up a page that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Pinterest servers. The plugin transmits log data to the Pinterest server in the USA. This log data may contain your IP address, the address of the visited websites that also contain Pinterest functions, type and settings of the browser, date and time of the request, your usage of Pinterest as well as cookies.

For more information on the purpose, scope and further processing and use of the data by Pinterest, as well as your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Pinterest’s privacy policy: https://about.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy.

Facebook plugins (Like button)

Plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated on my pages. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like button” (“Like”) on my pages. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit my pages, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plugin. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited my site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate the visit to my pages with your user account. I would like to point out that I, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. For more information, please see Facebook’s privacy policy at https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to my pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
